The end of summer is just around the corner, and autumn is a wonderful time to set beautiful tables. We’re more inclined to stay at home, gather with family and friends, and, of course, this season allows us to enjoy an incredible range of colors, such as orange, red, yellow, or brown, to dress up our tables.

And it’s a wonderful time to make the most of the remaining rays of sunshine.

Event table decoration, it’s common to find ideas for summer and Christmas tables, but the transitional seasons are also a perfect occasion to celebrate.

The first thing is to decide whether to set our table indoors or, if possible, in the garden or on the terrace, taking advantage of the milder days.

Autumn

Shall we organize a meal in the garden?

From time to time, this season gives us the opportunity to enjoy an outdoor meal.
In these cases, nature itself is the best decoration, so you don’t need much to incorporate autumn into the table setting since the surrounding landscape provides the perfect backdrop for the celebration.

Take inspiration from its colors, shapes, and textures to decorate your table with small accessories related to autumn.

Warm and neutral colors, linen tablecloths or placemats, tableware in earthy tones, oranges, whites..

When the temperature doesn’t cooperate, we can bring nature indoors, focusing on its rustic aspect: the warmth of the fire, the charm of wood, or the soft glow of candles can create a magical and autumnal atmosphere.

So…

¿We put our table inside of the house?

In this case, we will base our color palette on three colors: white, beige, and mustard. These are tones found in nature, full of light, and they combine the freshness of the wilderness with the warmth of rustling leaves, the aroma of spices, and natural textiles such as linen and cotton.

You can place a white or beige tableware on top of these, accompanied by cloth napkins with small bouquets of leaves or aromatic plants.

Autumn is probably the season in which nature offers us the widest spectrum of colors. A true explosion of color in the form of seasonal fruits and vegetables, such as the orange of pumpkins, deciduous and evergreen leaves with their brown, reddish, yellow, and green hues, or the textures of tree bark, pinecones, or nuts. All of this provides us with a vast array of colors to draw inspiration from when decorating autumn tables.

If you enjoy colorful tables, to apply this option correctly, start by dressing your neutral table with a light tablecloth or a table runner in natural fabrics. Combine dishes with different textures in neutral tones, such as whites, beige, and browns, or even blacks, which can serve as a base for the rest of the decoration.

Another option is to choose colored glassware in oranges, yellows, and greens, which will add fantastic color and shine to your table. You can even place small candles inside them to enhance their warm glow.

Essential accessories that should not be missing.
